Bad news for bald men: Hair loss drugs cause erectile dysfunction that lasts for years (and even Viagra won’t cure the problem)

Hair loss drugs can cause erectile dysfunction in men, scientists warn.

Those who take a popular growth stimulant were impotent for an average of four years after the drug, a study found.
The victims were unable to maintain an erection despite being given Viagra to try to solve your problem.
Experts now say that taking finasteride is a risk factor for the condition of diabetes, hypertension and smoking.
The drug, sold as Propecia, reduces the levels of prostate-specific antigen and is used for the treatment of male pattern hair loss.
Researchers from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine assessed the effects of the stimulant of hair growth, by Donald Trump and dutasteride.
Author of the study, Dr. Steven Belknap said: 'men taking finasteride or dutasteride can get persistent erectile dysfunction, that it will not be able to have normal erections for months or years.'
Both are blockers of hormones that prevent testosterone is converted to its active form.
The first is prescribed to some men with baldness and is also sold under the brand name Proscar.
While the latter, more commonly known as Avodart, is mainly used to reduce the size of the prostate.
11.909 men studied, 1.4 per cent spent to develop persistent erectile dysfunction. This continued for an average of 1,348 days.
Before this study published in PeerJ, it was scarce to research about the sexual effects of taking finasteride and dutasteride.
There was also strong evidence that either for a long period of time increases the risk of impotence.
But the researchers found men under 42 years who used any of the drugs for seven months had a 4.9-fold greater risk.
This comes after Turkish scientists last week found blood type might affect performance of a man under the sheets.
Types of blood A, B or AB are up to four times more likely to suffer from impotence in men who have blood type or.
The results were significant because it is estimated that more than half of all men have rates three danger.

FINASTERIDE: WHAT IS THIS MEDICINE?
Finasteride was originally developed to treat urinary problems in men.
Studies showed the drug did prostate glands smaller by reducing levels of the hormone dihydrotestosterone in the participants.
But during clinical trials, the scientists saw an unexpected side effect - hair growth.
And so in 1997, the FDA approved steroid inhibitor as the first ever drug to treat male pattern baldness.
It is taken once a day, the drug is mainly sold under the brand name Propecia. Millions of American adults use pills, which have shown to be 90 percent effective.
You will be sure of how many men in the United Kingdom use since it is treated only with prescription that is not available on the NHS.
Than impotence, some side effects include rash or sensitivity around the nipples.
